The EKEN H9R sports video camera records incredible moments with Ultra HD 4k resolution / 170° viewing angle with WiFi or remote control.
EKEN H9R Ultra HD 4K / 25fps WiFi 2.0" sports video camera
Can only be used with C10 TF very good cards, otherwise it can not be set to 4K and 1080P 60fps.
In addition to the LCD, a big plus is the LED indicator above the camera. Most rooms have a small indicator that is sometimes hard to see. This is undoubtedly the largest and easiest to see led. Eken clearly listens to feedback from users. Other rooms have been constant complaints about LED indicators, so they put this gigantic indicator on the top.
This is also visible in sunlight, better and easier to see than other rooms.
What colour do you prefer?
With these ultra-wide 170 ° HD lens, the sports video camera can easily embrace the magnificent landscape of the human eye.
Capture every incredible moment with 720p at 120fps (4 times more frames per second) with this sports video camera.
2.4G WiFi remote for photos or video
Allows diving up to 30 meters, the special case of this sport video camera ensures waterproofing and watertightness.
The EKEN H9R sports video camera is equipped with a 2 "320x240 pixel LCD screen for easy viewing of video content.
Ez iCam lets you control your camcorder remotely using a smartphone.
Features include full camera control, live preview, photo playback and selected content sharing, and more.
At the top you can select the resolution and frame rate, but 4K and 2.7K are not available within the application. Next to it you will find the camera's battery status. Now, what's really interesting is that you can select white balance (AWB) within the app, but not in the camera menu!
When you click the settings next to it, you can select the power frequency and format the SD card - it's not other options. EKEN will add with a future update of the app.
Under the live image you will find the shutter button and mode switch that will allow you to select the photo or video mode. You can not select the expansion mode or the time interval with your phone!
So you do not have many options within the app. On the other hand, you do not need an application to control your camcorder. You can do everything on screen, and the menu and camera navigation work very well. If your only reason is to connect to your phone to share photos and videos online, then everything is perfect.
Press the "down" button on the side of the camera to activate the wifi function. You will see on the screen that WiFi is now enabled.
Look for the camera on your WiFi phone - the standard WiFi name is ICAM-Hg, the default password is 1234567890
Open the EZ iCam app and select your video camera - then live view.
* 2" LCD display
* The case is waterproof and allows you to shoot fascinating moments. Can withstand diving up to 30m. Protection class IP 68.
* 12 megapixel HD 170° wide lens.
* Wi-Fi action range is 3m. Supports Android / iOS apps
* Memory card support up to 32GB
* More video recording formats: 4K / 2.7K / 1080p / 720P
* 4K only 25FPS, 2.7K only 30FPS. But most PCs only support 1080P video. So, we suggest recording 1080P 60FPS, it's the best and fluent.
* This camera can only be used with a quality class 10 memory card.
You can change the settings very comfortably with the big screen on the back.
When you turn on the camera with the front power button, it will take you to the video mode first. A small icon on the left side of the screen shows you are in video mode and current settings. Pressing the power button briefly lets you navigate camera modes.
To change the settings, you must press the trigger button that will also act as a selection button. You can navigate the menu by pressing the up and down buttons on the side of the camera. By pressing the Power / Mode button you get a step back:
The camera will record 10 minutes. Blinks and overwrites the oldest clip when the microSD card is full.
The time stamp displays the date or date and time in the right corner of the video. Most people stop it, but if you have reasons like proofing your date and time on your photos and videos, you can turn it on.
Date (show date only)
Date and time (indicates both date and time)
Exposing a photo determines how much light or dark will appear on an image. More details here.
If, for some reason, you want to adjust the brightness, you can experience these values. Positive (plus) values provide brighter, darker-dark images.
The options are:
The EKEN H9 uses a 4MP sensor, so all higher photo resolutions are overwritten.
If you do not know what a resolution is, it's basically the amount of pixels aligned horizontally and vertically forming an image. In theory, the higher the resolution, the better the video clarity. However, some resolutions also depend on what kind of equipment you are watching.
For example, if you watch 4K videos from a high-quality camera on a 1080p TV or monitor, guess what? There will be very little or no difference.
In addition to resolution, FPS - frames per second are also important. The video is similarly created to the photos. With the photo you get a static image, but the video captures a motion. In layman's words, FPS is the amount of shots the camera captures in a single moment of a video. The most commonly used frame rates are 24, 30, and 60. 30 fps means that in one second the camcorder records 30 still images that make up one second of the video.
Wikipedia offers good starting points if you want to know more about frame resolution and < a href = "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution"> display resolution .
Another important factor is the bit rate . It's not so important to beginners, but the higher the bit rate, the more data it turns into a second of a video, which means superior quality due to better processing and higher consumption storage. Files with higher rates will take up more space.
The Burst photo is a fun option that will take 3 continuous photos when you press the shutter button within 1.5 seconds. It's good for sports shooting or when you try to catch a moving object.
3 photos in 1.5 seconds
While 3 photos in 1.5 seconds are far from impressive speed, it's not that bad, though if you move very fast, the images will be blurred.
If you enable loop recording, the camera will segment your videos in 3 minutes. For example, if you let your camcorder record continuously for 30 minutes, you'll have 10 videos, each of 3 minutes (3 × 10).
Because the option itself is for people who want to use the Eken H9R on the car (traffic / board) when the memory card is full and the camera is recording, it will automatically delete the first movie and record it , overlapping (looping) one video sequence over another.
Everyone loves time-lapse videos. This camera also has an expiration time. By setting the time interval to a certain interval, the camera will take a long shot. So, if you set, 20 seconds, once you press the shutter button, the camera will take a photo 20 seconds later. In fact, this is more like a timer.
To allow the time interval, you need to enable "continuous lapse". Once you have turned it on, the camera will shoot at the preset seconds, continuously one after the other, until you turn it off or the battery will be consumed.
In conclusion, there is no video shutdown option, which means that the expiration time of this camera will produce many photos that you need to combine in video editing software to get a video. It is very useful if you want to shoot very slow processes like sunset, sunrise, plant movement after light, etc.
You can set a time (delay) as follows:
2s / 3s / 5s / 10s / 20s / 30s / 60s
This is a way of shooting time, so EKEN will take individual photos but will not generate a video from it!
You can select 50Hz, 60Hz or Auto.
Controls the shutter to avoid flicker, as the frequency in lighting is different in many countries.
There are a wide variety of languages that you can set your menu:
Traditional Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, French, Czech, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Thai.
Make sure you have entered the correct information when using the timestamp option.
You have more options to choose for beep and volume:
Trigger (on / off) - sounds when you press the shutter button (works only in photo mode)
Start (1/2/3 / off) - welcome sound, you can choose from 1-3 levels or turn it off.
Beep - the sound inside the menu / the settings that can be heard while browsing.
Volume (beep volume (1-4 level / off)
You can flip the image if you mount the camera head-down.
A nice option that stops the display to save battery:
Off, 1 min, 3 min or 5 min
The same thing for the room itself. You can also select your camcorder to be automatically deactivated in standby mode:
Off, 1 min, 3 min or 5 min
To format the SD card.
To return to factory settings.
Breast strap + headband:
Original original battery + battery charger:
These batteries are more efficient than the original batteries supplied with the EKEN cameras. Filming time is about 20-30% higher.
Note: Recording time depends on shooting mode, so the best 4k mode can reduce the shooting time to 10-15 minutes with a single battery. Maximum shooting time can reach 90min.
For buying this dual battery charger set, you have the link at the end, in Accessories.
