How does it connect?

P2P operation

Step 1 – Turn on your devices and connect them online

Step 2 – Get your device serial / ID

Go to Main Menu >> Info >> Version

The serial number is very important. Someone else can connect to your device remotely if they know this serial.

Step 3 Using Internet Explorer go to the website: http://www.xmeye.net

Choose “By Device”, enter series and username “admin”, no password, then choose “main stream” to view.

Start/stop and user login

HDD installation

(Skip if you don't need storage):

Install the hard drive

Starting

Plug in the power supply, the indicator lights up and the DVR starts up.

Note: Use the right power adapter to avoid abnormal situations or damage to the DVR.

Stop

To turn off the device, there is soft shutdown and hard shutdown.

To stop from the software: Go to – –

For hard shutdown: disconnect power at rear panel.

Note:

When the power is restored: when the DVR is abnormally shut down, restart it, all the recordings will be automatically saved and return to the previous state.

When replacing the hard disk: Turn off the power before replacing.

Login to the system

When the DVR starts, the user needs to log in and the system provides the corresponding functions. There are two user settings. The name is admin by default. Admin defaults to no password.

Password protection: If the password is wrong three times continuously, the alarm will start. If the password is wrong continuously five times, the account will be locked. (By restarting or if you wait for half an hour, the account will be unlocked automatically).

Network settings

Go to: Main Menu > System > Network , as follows:

IP address: default is 192.168.1.10;

Subnet Mask: default is 255.255.255.0;

Gateway: default is 192.168.1.1.

Note: The IP address of the DVR must be in the same IP class as the router and conform to its IP instead of conflicting with other IPs to ensure the device access to the network; Go to Main menu > system > network, select DHCP Enable (The router should assign an IP via DHCP).

Recording settings

The DVR must contain a HDD, for the following settings

HDD management

After installing the HDD, turn on the DVR, go to - - to format the HDD. Then set the HDD as read-write.

Note: At least one read-write disk is required for normal recording.

Video settings

Go to - -

Choose the appropriate channel number. Choose "all option" to set all channels.

Choose the redundancy function to duplicate the file recording.

Set the length of each video file between 1min and 120min. 60 minutes is the default.

Set video status: schedule, manual or off.

Configuration: Record according to the set video type (common, detection) and time section.

Manual: Corresponding channel starts recording 24 hours non-stop.

Stop: Regardless of the channel status, the corresponding channel recording stops when the stop button is selected.

Set the time section of the common record. Recording will start only within the set interval.

Set the recording type: normal, detection, alarm

Regular (Normal): Record according to the set time section. The video file type is “R”.

Detect: In the set time section, trigger motion detection, blind video, video loss or abnormal analysis. When the above alarm is set as the recording trigger, the recording detection state is enabled. The video file type is M.

There are two ways you can play the video files from HDD

Double-click the file name to play the video.

Channel management

Note: Not all models support this feature.

Go to - - - configure, you can connect the IP camera in pure network or hybrid network.

Search and display the IP address in the same LAN, such as IPC, DVR and NVR. Choose an IP address, the device name, type, IP address, port and protocol will be entered automatically.

Allows NETTP, ONVIF and all. The default is all.

Click ok to finish adding, return to the digital channel interface, choose the added monitoring device to preview.

LAN access

When you connect to the network, connect the DVR to start remote monitoring via IE browser

Connect to DVR

Open the IE browser, enter the IP address, take 192.168.1.10 as an example, enter http://192.168.1.10 to log in.

Login to DVR

Enter your username and password. (The default username is admin, no password). Change the administrator password after logging in as follows:

Note: Plug-ins must be installed if you connect via Internet Explorer.IE is required to install the plugin. Set the IE security level. Go to - -

, enable them all.

Or install the IE plug-in _V1.1.0.78.exe from the CD.

Access to public networks (cloud operation)

Cloud technology makes an important step on the Internet, which greatly facilitates customers in monitoring the public network. For first use, please follow the instructions here. If not, just move on.

Access from PC

1. Access http://xmeye.net to log in

2. Install step by step according to the guides.

3. Click login to enter the cloud service interface as follows:

4. After successful setup, wherever you are and from wherever you are, as long as you have Internet, you can access your device.

Monitoring from PC: Login http://www.xmeye.net; Login with user and password (user: guest, password: 123).

Recover forgotten password
